DESCRIPTION:Rambling Read is truly rambling this month! We are headed to Heirloom Arts near the Maple Street YMCA for this months open mic. Join us to hear local poets Shanna Collins\, Devin Bullmer\, and Zoe Reyes. Also\, stay for the open mic and show us what you have been working on! \nDoors Open at 6pm\, reading begins at 6:30pm\, sign-up is in-person! \nBrought to you by Rambling Read and The Kalamazoo Poetry Festival. \nBios: \nShanna Collins is a visual artist\, cultural writer\, and former music organizer. She has written for VIBE magazine and appeared in the Chicago Reader. \nDevin Bullmer is a visual artist and writer currently working as a paraprofessional in special education. His work is often influenced by nature\, his queer identity\, and acceptance of the frustrating knowledge that nothing ever turns out exactly how you want it to. \nZoe Reyes is a poet whose work centers nature\, while also exploring politics\, healing\, and connection. She has been writing since she could first pick up a pen\, using poetry to process emotions and engage with the world around her.
