About the Series
The Gwen Frostic Reading Series brings acclaimed authors of poetry, prose, and drama from across the nation to Kalamazoo and the surrounding community. All readings are free and open to the public. The series is made possible by a generous gift from Gwen Frostic, a distinguished artist, author, naturalist, and entrepreneur who earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in 1929.
